Saving tigers is about more than restoring a single species. They play an important role in balancing the wild ecosystem.
A few hundred kilometres from Hyderabad, we have India’s largest tiger reserve known as Srisailam Tiger Reserve. Daughter Earth works with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) India to conserve the tigers in this region by supporting anti-poaching activities and conservation programs.
Why? Did you know that every time we protect a tiger, we protect around 25,000 acres of forest—forests that sustain wildlife and local communities and supply people around the world with clean air, water, food, and products?
Not far away from here is also Vipassana Meditation Center where some of our team members including our founder go to meditate for longer periods of time.
This wild ecosystem also houses some of the richest archaeological Buddhist sites that lie on the banks of the river Krishna and was once the location of many Buddhist universities and monasteries, attracting students from all over the world.
We would not have been able to give a lending hand without you guys, and we sincerely thank you for trusting us with your skin and helping us creating a slightly better world.
