Our mission is to create the best formulas through scientific research and plant based bioactives, all while being conscious, ethical and creating impact at the grassroots.
We do this at the confluence of advanced science and ancient Ayurveda - the ancient Indian science of life.

Advanced green biochemistry + ancient Ayurveda
Your skincare is only as good as its ingredients, and the process of formulation. That is why we source the most potent species of ingredients and then extract the nutrients and actives by several time tested and advanced processes.
Want a peek? We wild harvest at 12000+ ft altitudes from the cold deserts of the Himalayas. After hand-picking them at 3 am in the morning, when they are still frozen, we supercritically extract them using green processes that do not leave any solvent behind.
Our formulators work on blending taila paka vidhi, sneha kalpana and kashayas with supercritical extractions, cryogenic processes, to get the best out of modern processes and ancient wisdom.

1. ACTIVE FORMULATIONS
We infuse maximum number of actives at most potent concentrations possible. Coupled with right extraction processes, we create micro and macro emulsions, medicated oils, balms and ubtans and super concentrated complexes.
2. SUPERCRITICAL EXTRACTIONS
An advanced way to extract maximum amount of nutrients, without leaving any solvent waste behind, supercritical extractions are made with inert dry ice (solid CO2). This is known to be one of the most effective, and eco-friendly extraction process.
3. CONTROLLED INFUSIONS
Herbal infusions at controlled temperature and climate conditions are created to capture the botanical essences in a skin compatible format.
4. RIGOROUS TESTING
Our formulations undergo rigorous QA/QC and testing for stability, microbial, and dermatological testing. Not just the final formula, we choose ingredients with clinically proven efficacy to boost our formulas.
5. TAILA PAKA VIDHI
Quick absorbing botanical oils with low molecular weight fatty acids are slow cooked with various stems, flowers, roots, buds, fruits and seeds of plants.
Water concontions are also slowly infused into oil, thereby transferring both water soluble and oil-soluble nutrients are into medicated oils that enhance life energy, complexion, and strength
6. 100% PURE STEAM DISTILLATIONS
Non-volatile components that are not water-soluble are distilled through this process. The resulting steam distilled essences from rose, saffron, rosemary, mogra etc are infused in our formulas and mists.

Responsibly source highest grade ingredients
We go straight to the source, traveling to some of the wildest and remotest habitats on earth in search of potent botanicals. These are also parts of the country where the livelihood of the tribal communities is from the forests.
We supercritcally extract world's most berries from Spiti. We source the world’s purest Bakuchiol extracted from certified organic Babchi seeds - right here in Hyderabad - the same active that is used in advanced cancer research. Our nutrient-dense coffee arabica is handpicked from Araku microclimates in Visakhapatnam from the world's largest biodynamic and certified organic and wild coffee forest reserves.
On an average we spend 5-7x more than others on our ingredients alone!

Make only reef-safe, cruelty-free products
Right at the R&D phase, we ensure that all our ingredients are reef-safe and earth friendly. Which means we do not use microbeads, nanoparticles, octinoxate, avobenzone, oxybenzone, silicones, siloxanes and SLS/SLES.
We will never test on animals. We are and always will be cruelty-free and vegan.
By wild harvesting, we source the cleanest and most potent medicinal herbs and while doing so, we create economic activity for the marginalised communities in those remote parts - parts of the world where communities depend on land and agriculture for their livelihood.

Package everything with integrity
First and foremost we design our packaging to preserve the product integrity. Our white opaque and dark amber glass bottles preserve the formulas from photo-oxidation, and glass being infinitely recyclable, it's a sustainable choice.
Aluminium, known for its ability to recycle, and to preserve the formulations, is another material we work with.
We are on a 'no plastic filler' packaging mission. Where necessary, we repurpose eco-friendly industrial paper waste and corrugated board byproducts for shipping.

We are in it for the long haul
Every penny that we make after our conscious giving is reinvested in the R&D of future formulas. This way we will be able to create superior and industry-leading formulas. Always.
We work to protect the planet through eco-conservation programs, and afforestation work. Earth is our home, and we take it upon us to protect our home.

We believe in leaving the planet better than we found it
Daughter Earth is designed to give and created to conserve. Even before we sold our first bottle, we funded the education of our first girl child in Hyderabad.
We believe that the world is a better place when girls are educated, and the planet is better when the wildlife is conserved and more trees are planted. We also believe that humanity is in a better place when our collective consciousness is elevated.
A portion of what we earn go into giving back to the above causes. We work with Plan India, Project Greenhands, One Tree Planted, World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and Vipassana International Centers.

- Your skin is hydrated and nourished. You may notice that your skin appears smoother and suppler.
- In the first few days, you may need to adapt your skin to the potent formulas, especially if you have a sensitive skin or is prone to skin purging. As time passes, your skin starts loving the goodness as it adapts.

- As your skin renews (per it’s shedding cycles that can vary between 28 days to 45 days), nourished skin is revealed naturally. Your skin is balanced and healthier.
- Actives in our formulas work hard towards building skin resilience and helping keep the skin barrier intact.

- You’d have completed at least one skin shedding cycle by now, and you’ll start noticing that your skin is becoming much stronger, healthier and resilient, with a youthful glow
- Of course, your skin is a mirror of what goes inside, so always couple this with good sleep, diet and exercise.
In sync with the biological cycle
Our Skin is a miracle machine and when it is fed well with nutrition and a good support system, it heals and nourishes itself. When this is done while respecting the circadian rhythm of your body (natural sleep cycle when the body is in rejuvenation mode), it is even more effective.
