The problem with traditional retinols is that they can wreak havoc on your skin, disrupting the skin barrier, causing irritation. We solved for this by formulating with a microscopic delivery technology that releases a continuous, slow burst of retinol night long, and this is encapsulated in Squalane so that the retinol action is happening in deeper skin layers, and not on the surface thereby not irritating the barrier.!
CAMELLIA OIL +
Camellia oil is rich in oleic acid and vitamins A, B, D and E, as well as nourishing omega 3, 6 and 9. It is soothing, and moisturizing while being incredibly lightweight. Camellia has a herbaceous scent that lends a unique scent when combined with sea buckthorn in The Face Retinol Serum. It's like a super skin drink with an earthy scent that we cannot get enough of!

4. Can beginners use this system? Should I do a patch test?

Start with 1-2 drops of serum and a bit of moisturizer, allowing your skin to adapt over time. Increase usage gradually. If you notice irritation, stop and consult a physician.
5. What benefits can I expect? How long until I see results?
The Retinol Complex used in our system is designed to smooth your skin, reduce the appearance of discoloration and fine lines, and enhance your skin’s radiance. Typically, with retinols, one can expect to see results in 4 weeks, with significant changes in 8-12 weeks. You may notice improvements in skin texture and a nourished feeling within days. Retinol makes your skin more sensitive to sunlight, even when used at night. Protect your skin with a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily. We recommend our Sunnydip Hybrid Sunscreen SPF 50 for broad-spectrum coverage.
10. Can I use this on acne-prone skin?
Yes, retinol can promote clearer skin for acne-prone users. Start slowly as mentioned above. For acne-prone skin, here’s a recommended regime:
Morning: The Gentle Cleanser + Spot Shot (Niacinamide + Ceramide) Serum + Sunnydip SPF 50.
Night: The Retinol System - The Gentle Cleanser + The Face Retinol (Serum) + The Night Retinol (Cream).
11. My primary goal is to manage lines, wrinkles, and age gracefully. How do I use Retinol?
For healthy aging, here’s our recommended regime:
Morning: Ripe Balancing Cleanser + Ripe Super Cream + Sunnydip SPF 50.
Night: The Retinol System - The Gentle Cleanser + The Face Retinol (Serum) + The Night Retinol (Cream). Both cleansers can be used interchangeably.
12. Do you recommend this for pregnant or lactating mothers?
First of all, congratulations! We do not recommend retinol products during pregnancy or lactation. However, you can use The Gentle Cleanser from the Retinol System, along with our Spot Shot Niacinamide Serum and Ripe Super Cream for safe and effective skincare
